Hi,

Yes it might be a tftp sw problem try a different software.

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

Here is a little more detail on the problem that I'm having:

I have 3 2500 routers. I purchased memory to max out the memory on all of the routers (16MB for each) and replaced the old memory. When I power up any of the routers it loads it's boot image and the prompt reads - router (boot)>

If I run the command the "show flash" it says

System flash directory:

No files in System flash

[0 bytes used, 16777216 available, 16777216 total]

16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

I want to load IOS version 12.3 so I try to load it via tftp.

router(boot)#copy tftp flash

System flash directory:

No files in System flash

[0 bytes used, 16777216 available, 16777216 total]

there are more chances of being bad in this case as one of them is working. Do clean the Simm slots before inserting the memory simms.

Thanks
