Hi, I need to update the firmware on some of our Cisco 837 ADSL routers. They are all in remote offices and I want to do this remotely. I have a TFTP server they can ping. Can you help locating the latest firmware I would hate to load the wrong one.

Many thanks in advance for your time.

I have this problem too.

Thanks, what are the commands to update a IOS remotely, will there be much downtime to the network connected to the 837 router?

Hi,

You'll have to use the "copy tftp flash" command, and then use the "boot system flash:" to point on the new IOS, the down time would occur when you have to reload the router to come up with the new IOS you have installed.

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.
