Hello all,
I'm designing a large Wireless network for more than 100 APs around the country. and H-REAP is only the option as for each site i have 1 AP. and for sites of more than 1 AP I'll install a local WLC.
My questions are:
- Have I a limitation for total H-REAP supported via WLC?
- If there a problem while using VSAT links?
-Which is the recommended security option for that, as I'll use a centralized billing system.

Hi Omar,
In release 4.0.206.0, Hybrid REAP can be used with up to eight access points but in 4.1.171.0 there is no deployment restriction on the number of hybrid-REAP access points per location. However, the minimum bandwidth restriction remains 128 kbps with the roundtrip latency no greater than 100 ms and the maximum transmission unit (MTU) no smaller than 500 bytes.
Have a look at this link and it may help you with your 3rd question

That's good, but for public access you think that I need a BBSM to get a zero configuration? I'm usig a WCS and WLCs??
