ip routing

Help!

We recently established a metro link connecting a remote office. Site A is a public network, Site B is a private network. The routers appear to be talking to each other. Site A also has a Cisco 1605R connecting it to the Internet. I ran the following command on it the establish a static route to the router to Site B:

config terminal ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 64.60.136.8

However, commands sent to the private network still are being routed to the Cisco.

Am I missing another command somewhere?

Here is the result from a 'show ip route'

united_imaging>show ip route

Thank you in advance for you help,

DKB,

Could you please send the config for both the routers Router A and Router B. Do a traceroute to 192.168.1.x any host and check where are you going through it.

Also, Please paste a brief network topology.

Amit,

Sorry, what exactly are you looking for as far as the topology? I can create a simple diagram if your wish.

Thank you again,

DKB

Amit,

I attempted to post my 'show config' results to you, but somehow they did not show up on the forum. Can you please confirm whether or not you got them?

Thanks,

DKB

Try uploading the same again or send me at ephraimm@hcl.in.

Thanks EM
