Unanswered Question

Hello:

I need to create a job with CW to apply an ACL to multiple devices.

The second sentence of the ACL must include the IP address of each device. It is possible to do with CW?

The second sentence? Can you provide an example of what you are looking for?

I need to replace [IP_Eth_Router] to the value for each router. And I've 300 routers!!

Ex:

access-list 99 permit 10.10.10.5 0.0.0.0

access-list 99 permit [IP_Eth_Router]

access-list 99 deny any

Thanks

The problem is each router can have more than a few interfaces, so how would CiscoWorks know which interface is appropriate to apply the ACL on? One thing in CiscoWorks that might help a tiny little bit is the "Parameterized Templates" feature, though you'd still have to do most of the heavylifting by creating the template suitably for your need first. Given the nature of this task, the template probably wouldn't be very reusable either.
