CCNA lab study

Unanswered Question
Jul 27th, 2007

Hello all,

1st timer here. Just wondering if having 3 2950's is a good switching environment to have to study for the CCNA? I also have 3 3600's with T1-wic (for each) as well. Is this a good enough lab?

Thanks,

JorgeV.

I have this problem too.

Nevermind, I just found out that having 2950's are perfect to have for ccna. I was just worried about ISL not supported on these platforms.

Can anyone confirm my 3600 set-up?

Thanks,

JorgeV.

hi,

Its a great lab setup for CCNA, yes the 2950 doesn't support ISL but its not a big deal, as for your routers the 3600 are more than great, but what exact type of T1 interfaces are your WIC.

Hello Mohammed,

Thanks for the reply. I currently have wic-1dsu-t1 cards. I should be able to use these cards for all routing protocols out there. Am I correct on this?

Thanks,

JorgeV.
