You don't need to consider VTP settings anymore when adding switch into a stack or creating a stack. Just be sure that the switch that you are going to add to the stack has a lower priority than the master. The configuration of the master will always prevail. VTP and VLAN configurations. Because if you are going to add a new switch into a stack and that switch has a higher switch priority number, the existing switch might reboot and adopt the settings and VLAN and VTP configuration of the added switch.
