LINK REDUNDANCY TO SERVERS

EXISTING SETUP

2 6500

2 3750 stacked in each floors

uplinks from both core switch to each floor forms link redundandancy using stp and hsrp

QUESTION:

1. what will i do now to have link redundancy to servers which are to be direcTly connected to the core? WHAT IS THEBEST PRACTICE?

Are you 6500's connected to each other via a layer 2 trunk ?

If so server redundancy can be achieved by dual honing your servers to both 6500 switches use active/standby NIC configuration on your servers.
