Hi
I am facing am issue of arp entry not phasing out.
When my Primary Link goes down, I have a deafult route ( backup route ) that comes into play via Fa0/0. I am learning this route via EIGRP.It works fine
But whenever my primary link ( On Serial ) comes back up, I see problem that there are certain routes which are not reachable ( Though I can see the routes learnt from Primary path via BGP now) . I have seen that there is an ARP entry which stays for these routers via FA0/0 ( backup ) and we need to clear them manually.
I need to know if smeone has come across this issue ?

Hi Arshad,
Are both routes learned via EIGRP ?

Hi Mohammed
No. The Primary Route is learnt via BGP. Now when primary route gets unavailable then we have a backup route which is learnt via EIGRP.
Now when by Primary link comes backup, I can see the route available back again via BGP but the packets are drop due to this ARP entry not phasing out.
I am running CEF globally
