My problem is this. The 7960 ip phones that we have do not show the light status or indicate that there is a msg waiting for them. But when they pick up the phone and they dial in their voice mail box, it tells them that there is a new voice mail waiting for them.
Can anybody help me with this?

is it only on 7960 phones or on all ur phones (if any)?
basically u have to check ur MWI on and off on CCM: what partition they are assigned to and whether ur 7960 has this partition in their CSS's.
then check the MWI status on voicemail ports on unity: first, are there ports assigned for MWI if yes check their status.

Usually its an issue with MWI, go into the options and you might need to re-synch it.

Thanks for your help.
The WMI was on but when We re-syched, they seemd to start working again.
