Hi All
I have just looked at the Physical discrepancy report and can see that spantree portfast has been enabled on a trunk port between 2 switches.
Now I need to disable as this is critical. Can I do now while in production?. Will it lead to any recalculation of spanning tree?
These are live and production switches
set spantree portfast x/y disable

What is the SPT mode you are running on the switch? Spanning-tree reconvergence will happen on these ports. I would suggest you to schedule it in late hours so that to minimize the impact on the network.

I cannot answer anything really useful here, sorry about that, because it's a matter of testing the implementation. In theory, I don't see why removing portfast on the trunk would have any impact whatsoever.

Francois
