Incoming calls filtering

Hello experts,

I had ciso 2821 (CCME bundle) with E1 connected to Panasonic TDA-200. Every calls is going correctly, but I had a problem with associating incoming call with dial-peers, to filter calls by COR.

Question:

In witch sequence dial-peer parameters checked to associate with call? I'm interested in parameters: port, called-number, destination-pattern.

So, if I have two dial-peers with

incoming called-number xxxx (similar)

but with different destination pattern? Will it work and differentiate incoming calls between this dial-peers?

Thanks in forward. I'm ready for addition questions from you. I'm available by ICQ: 305465060

Waiting for the answer.

Hi Antony,

First of all you have to understand one important concept: For each call, there will be one incoming DP, and one outgoing. If DP configuration dictates so, the same DP can be incoming and outgoing. You can hence find more clear to confgiure separately incmong and outgoing DPs.

So, if two DP have the same "incoming called-number" and same preference, they will round-robin calls. Only _after_ the incoming DP has done processing, the system will look for DPs with "destination-pattern configured.

This is your reference document:

Note: as a recent change, the "port" is not used anymore as incoming DP selection criteria.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
