SRST when poor network response time happen

Hi all,

An SRST remote site in my client currently have a problem in provider which cause a poor response time (average 2000ms) between call manager and the phones. The phones are in SRST mode now, but the Call Manager still consider the gateways registered to it. This cause incoming PSTN call to the remote site do not work, and I have to remove mgcp configuration in the remote router to force it to the operator.

Any explanation on why the phones can fallback to SRST although the connection is not broken ?

Any solution to this ? I wonder if the Call Manager have the same mechanism to consider a gateway as unregistered, so when SRST happens, the gateway is automatically unregistered from CCM.
