IDM problem

dear....

i was able to use IDM before but after i upgarde the IPS from 5.1.5 image to 5.1.5E i lost and can not connect to sensor using IDM as before i enabled web tls port 8080 .....now i only use CLI to configure the IPS but i need to use IDM.....do you have any suggestions?

Make sure you have the following options checked/unchecked for the following menus in the web browser

JAVA SUN

+ Use JRE 1.4.1 (unchecked)

Microsoft VM

+ Java console enabled (unchecked)

+ Java logging (unchecked)

+ JIT compiler(checked)

Also check if you have the patch PS-K9-patch-5.1-1p1.pkg installed.

It sounds like you don't have any connectivity at all? Have you tried connecting on the default port 443? Cisco upgrades have a nasty habit of tossing non-default settings during an upgrade.
