I want to use CUPC as a softphone only at this point. I have plans to get the Presence server at some point but not yet. I have configured the CUPC device as a phone in CCM and associated it with a user. When I open up CUPC and try to login I put my username and password in and the IP address of CCM and it never works. What am I missing?
The only way CUPC will work is with Presence server. All the funtionallity is control by the Presence (SIP, Trunks with Call manager, Proxy services running at presence). Call Manager controls the CTI application
