Ciscoworks Backup to a network drive?

I'm using LMS2.6 - Under Common Services / Admin / Backup, you are provided an option to browse for the backup directory destination path. However I'm unable to browse to any of the mapped network drives. I've also tried specifying the network path (ex: Z:\Backup) but that errors out with the following message:

"Error in creating the backup directory Z:/backups. Please give permission for casuser to create the above directory."

I do not believe it is a permission issue, my casuser does have full permision. Is backing up to a network drive even supported?

Backups to network drives are not supported due to database shipped with product. I do believe this is supported in LMS 3.0 of CiscoWorks but not planned for LMS 2.6 .
