Hello,

I understand that there was a method of state sync across two 720 sup's in two separate chassis introduced at Cisco Networkers this year. Does anyone know about this?

Or know what IOS will support this and when/if it is released?

It is a part of network virtualization that Cisco is focussing on.

In brief, its sort of a stack technology as you use today on the 3750's but is not limited by distance i.e switches can be connected via fiber and still act as one.

i think this is still in the 6500 road map and has a lot of limitations.

Maybe somebody from Cisco can give a better view on this
