OS Service Release: 2000.4.2sr5a

OS Upgrade: 2000.4.2

Hi Rob,

Just download the SR from :

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-41

Apply it first in the Pub then in the Subs.

It is just a .exe file

Make sure that all servers in the cluster get the same patch and run the EXACT version.

Thanks gogasca

Do I have to upgrade my server's OS?

---

Win 2000 sp4

Cpu 3.4Ghz

2 gig mem

I only got a stand-alone server.

Hi gogasca,

Do I need to do some pre-installment task?

i.e stop all Cisco related services, plug out of LAN?

Or just run the .exe file?

Sorry for the dump question!

tnx

You can find this information in the ReadMe file in the same place you download the upgrade.

Basically disable Cisco Security Agent and any monitoring or Virus scanner software. (optional) remove a drive if the server is mirroring drives for back-out option. run the upgrade and reboot the server when prompted. After the server has rebooted, update the plugins on any server using JTAPI to communicate with Call Manager.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for replying.

Last question: Have anyone tried Win2k3 on CM4.1(3)sr5b?

tnx

I only recommend you to disable the CSA prior the upgrade, other than that there is nothing else that you need to worry. Is is a simple patch it is not an upgrade from one version to another. The .exe file will do everything for you.

Win 2003 is ONLY supported on CCM 4.3
