Hi

Generally its recommended to subscribe 10 Mbps capacity through ethernet where you have the option have scalability in the future...

I dont think so that you will be able to get a 10meg link on a wic card from your telco...

You may have to go for DS-3 card to have the same or as i mentioned in the begining it will be on ethernet..

Hi,

It is very depends in which platform used, because on some platform for instance 2600 series you can achieve the 8M with WIC-2T but you cannot use other serial ports installed in the same NM.

Anyway the maximum speed of 1T is 2M and of 2T is 8M.

Hope it helps,

If you are serious about using serial ports why don't u use HSSI port?

I think the standard of any serial card (except HSSI) is 2 megs. Cisco's proprietry serial ports (v.35, X.21, ..) supports more than 2 megs. I have tested upto 8 megs.
