What is the best SIP solution for the scenario?

Hi,

I am not too familiar with the topic and I tried researching on the Net, but could not find anything that makes it clear to me. So, I would be grateful if anyone could help with the following.

My requirement is to setup a CISCO device with SIP device(s) that will appear to the switchboard as a single SIP trunk and be able to keep adding PRI cards so it never ran out of lines without having to reconfigure the switchboard.

To test proof the concept I want to use the 30 channel PRI card. But which Cisco PRI card will support SIP trunking?

Also, which router should I use with a SIP device that will allow me to continue adding more and more channels/cards.

The SIP trunk should support an infinite number of calls if it has the available bandwidth.

Thanks in advance

Andrei

Hi,

All cisco routers supports PRI. Now about density, you can go from 1 PRI on the 2801, to 8, 16 and more using specialized boxes like the AS5400. It really depends that is the planned growth of the application.

It would help if you could explain in practice, what you are trying to do.
