I have using Cisco 3560 catalyst switch
with IOS Release 12.2(25)SEB4. But the problem is that the switch does not support
service-policy output to restrict egress bandwidth in an interface as we can do in Cisco 3550 switch.
Any workout in this problem.....

Rajib,
3560 does not support egress policing. It supports policing on the ingress
try the command service-policy input < >

HTH, rate if it does

To get the egress policing you need, without buying new hardware, you might trying using a class-map to match the traffic and a policy-map to apply traffic-shaping.
Apply the policy-map to your router interface with the service-policy command.
