Folks,
Can anyone advise where to get info on the breakdown , or structure, of the Connection ID in a Cisco VOIP CDR. Probably this question should provide aditional context, happy to do so. These are records from Cisco CME. Many thanks.
Here's an example:
Feb 14 08:18:40 172.24.80.227 149033: 149097: Feb 14 08:18:40.429 EST: %VOIPAAA-5-VOIP_CALL_HISTORY: CallLegType 1, ConnectionId 31C9DDBC 9C9311DA AB680013 7FF56610, SetupTime 08:18:17.029 EST Tue Feb 14 2006, PeerAddress 5143856804, PeerSubAddress , DisconnectCause 10 , DisconnectText normal call clearing (16), ConnectTime 08:18:17.089 EST Tue Feb 14 2006, DisconnectTime 08:18:40.419 EST Tue Feb 14 2006, CallOrigin 2, ChargedUnits 0, InfoType 2, TransmitPackets 558, TransmitBytes 88644, ReceivePackets 663, ReceiveBytes 106080

Hi,
If you look into the command reference for "show call history voice", you will find a reasonably informative description for the fields.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Thanks. I don't have any info though on the actual meaning of the parts of the ConnectionId. I assume the source, origin, time&date, router etc are encoded in there somewhere. Is there a breakdown available of that ? I'm examining some traffic data that I don't know a lot about.
While I'm here, I'm wondering what the two 6 digit numbers are at the front of the record. Between the two date stamps.
Cheers,
Greg E
