DHCP and access-list

I have a 3750 that is only allowing two ip addresses to pass through a layer 3 port. I need to allow the host to connect to the DHCP server on the other side of the port but have run into problems setting up the access list to allow bootps and bootpc through.

here are my access-list so far.

access-list 101 permit udp any eq bootpc any log

access-list 101 permit 192.168.1.10 0.0.0.0 any log

access-list 102 permit udp any eq bootps any log

access-list 102 permit 192.168.1.7 0.0.0.0 any log

I have the access-list applied to the in/out of the layer 3 port. What am I missing to allow the host to aquire a DHCP address?

If the server is on a different subnet then make sure your ip helper addresses are defined on the interface .
