if you exceed the ASA license limit, how can you tell?

I understand that if you have a 10-user-licensed ASA, the eleventh IP trying to get through will just fail.

Is there a "show" command or something similar in ASDM that will indicate to me how close I am coming to the magic 10 limit?

Or do I have to look through the log for some sort of "license limited exceeded" message?

Hi you can use the show local-host command and take a look at the Current host count counter.

hostname# show local-host

Detected interface 'outside' as the Internet interface. Host limit applies to all other

Current host count: 3, towards licensed host limit of: 50

Interface inside: 1 active, 1 maximum active, 0 denied

Interface outside: 0 active, 0 maximum active, 0 denied

I hope it helps .. please rate if it does !!!
