I'm studying for BCMSN and have a question regarding interface tracking. The practise exams I am using ask which of the three redundancy protocols support Interface Tracking. The answer given says VRRP does not, but I can find a Cisco document that states it does.

Is the question wrong, or am I missing something?

This feature was introduced in 12.3(2)T code, which by my estimates was made in about 2003.
By comparison, HSRP object traffic was introduced in 12.2(15)T, which was released a year or two prior.
It could just be that your practice test is out of date.

The guide and test I am using was published January this year.
Is there a chance I a confusing support on Routers, with support on Layer 3 switches? Just a stab in the dark, trying to rationalise the inconsistency.
