Guys, M using T1/E1 card for connecting with MPLS link.

My ISP can configure their card to UNFRAMED with this command: <channel-group 1 unframed> but when i put the same command at my end, its not supporting and only supporting CRC4 or NO-CRC4.

So please suggest me what to do here.

Regards

Sunny

hi

your sp might be using channelised e1 card and you might be using normal nm t1/e1 card thats the reason you might be facing this.

if possible do post out the output of show version/show diag/show controller taken from your router.

Hi Sunny,

certain cisco hardware support unframed E1 operation, while evidently the one that you have does not.

In addition to that, even the circuit from telco must be provisioned as unframed, else it would not work.

In any case the difference is just 64kbps in speed, going from 1,984 to 2,408 Mbps.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
