Inline power supply in Avaya phone

Hi

we have 4507 switch wtith WS-X4148-RJ45V line cards. Now the problem is it provides inline power to cisco ip phone but not to Avaya ip phone.

Hi Om,

WS-X4148-RJ45V line card supports only cisco devices i.e. it does not comply with IEEE 803.3af standard.

You need to have WS-X4248-RJ45V line card to support avaya phones.
