I've got a Cisco Aironet 1200 AIR-AP1231G running IOS v12.3(4)JA.
We've had a 128bit WEP encryption scheme setup for a few years and now that we have laptops with Vista on them, they cannot connect at all, even with encryption and authentication turned off. Do I need to upgrade my IOS to make it compatible or am I setting up the AP wrong?
Thanks

The following link discuss how to configure a Vista wireless connection. Pay particluar attention to the areas that relate to whether you are broadcasting your SSID. I am starting to hear of problems with some cards if the SSID is not broadcast.

I've got the SSID being broadcast already in the aironet. All the computers, including the Vista computers can see the network automatically, but Vista computers always fail when trying to connect, seems like an authentication problem.
