Redundancy Qestion.

Gentleman,

I have the following scenario:

PtoP link between main site and branch.(2620 and 1721 routers)

two ASA at each site and IPSEC tunnel.

Each site has its own internet access and would like to be able to route internet traffic if the main site or home office internet connection goes down and viceversa meaning if at the branch they lose internet access to be able to route that traffic through the PtoP link.

Right now I was able to create a GRE tunnel to provide redundancy for the branch through the IPSEC tunnel but having issues trying to route the internet traffic.

Hope I explained everything well and and I hope somebody has run in to the same scenario.

Thanks,

Uriel.

Can you post a simple topology of your network?

R1----R2(Point-to-Point)

ASA1-ASA2==IPSEC tunnel

Have a GRE tunnel between R1 and R2 to provide redundancy for site 2.

Thanks,
