Spokes IPSec redundancy to geographically separated Hubs

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to provide L2L IPSec between 600+ spokes to 2 geographically separted hubs located at the Primary & Disaster Recovery Data Centers.

DMVPN is not an option, since there is no need from spoke-to-spoke, and I am trying to avoid DMVPN complexity.

Are the same applications / data at all the sites and each different hub site is strictly for redundancy? In other words, do the spokes need to talk to more than one hub network at time?

Hi,

the spokes need to speak to only one Hub at any given time.

I guess I found the solution for this case, it is IPSec Preferred Peer. I have tested and it works fine.
