Hello we use the secure desktop to provide SSL/VPN connections to a number of our remote users. Anyway we would like to give them the ability to run "Microsoft Remote Desktop" from there desktop and through secure desktop so that they connect to there local PC. Anyone know if this is possible and if so any idea how you can do this?

Thanks

In Ipsec VPN user are connect directly by access any one by RDC.

SSL/VPN you need to configure WEBVPN. Document SSL VPN:, After that you has to configure NTLM.

Follow URL: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_configuration_examples_list.html

We do this for our users. You can define the MS remote desktop client as an allowed smart tunnel application. When you start the smart tunnel, an MS remote desktop client sessions will be automatically proxied through the VPN server the user is connected to.

You can also use the in-page activex/java RDP plugin. So that rdp:// URLs entered into the URL bar on the web vpn portal will launch and start an session that runs within the browser window. The current release of the plug-in is quite nice and works with the updated protocol in 2003 server and vista.
