2600 to LAN connection problems to other VLANs

Unanswered Question

I have a cisco 1800 at a new location connecting a cisco 2600 in my office over T1. these 2 connect (cdp, ping, trace, telnet)

the 2600 connect my LAN via cisco 3650

the 2600 int configs:

anything within VLAN42 work fine:

I can access 192.168.42.6 from cisco3650

I can access any 192.168.42.x from the 2600 to LAN

any other VLAN doesn't work:

I can't access 192.168.42.6 from any other VLAN on teh network

I can't access any other VLAN from 192.168.42.6 to LAN

You might want to post the whole router config and then repost your question . Its not clear where the other vlans are located , is the 3560 doing routing etc .....Are you using a routing protocol or static routes all over the place ?

In addition to posting the router config, you may want to post the 3560 Switch config.

Do you have an 'interface vlan 42' with an IP address associated to that Vlan on this switch ?

You also need to address the duplex mismatch you have going there. The switchport is set to auto/auto while the router is set to full-duplex. I recommend manually setting the duplex and speed on the switchport.

changed the duplex, here is the updated int on 3650:

everything on my network go via this switch

I would expect any other VLAN to be able to access 192.168.42.6 since they go to the same switch (192.168.200.254 is VLAN200 gateway) but it's not...

what other configs do you want to see here?

The full running config from both the router and switch will be helpful.

in addition,

connection to 192.168.42.6 fail when I use VLAN1 connecting from a directly connected switch via trunk (to 2650)

I have no problems accessing other 192.168.42.x routers the same way

when you set the ip route it refers to the next hop which in my case still doesn't exist (no network on the remote location until I can figure out my end)
