I connect a 3548-XL to a 2924-XL by 4 interfaces, I put all of them in trunking mode and I enter the following command on all of them:

SW(config-if)#port group 1

but the atherchannel dosn't be established.

have you looked at this document?

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/144.html

Thnak you for the link.

It is between a 6500 and 3548.

Is it possible that etherchannel dose not work between 3548-XL and 2924-XL?

I read the link,

One side in this document is 6500, there is command for "interface Port-channel1", I donot have this in running config of 3548.

My switches are 3548-XL and 2924-XL.

I configured all 8 interfaces with these commands:

#duplex full

#speed 100

#port group 1 distribution destination

#switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

#switchport mode trunk

Only one port each side is in connected state.
