UM 4.2.1 with IP Fax

Outbound IP Fax not working. UM 421 with latest fax tool and on IOS 12.4.X. Per fax outbound troubleshooting:

I troubleshoot each component and saw that all works except sending fax to the gateway. Message tracking shows that it sends out to the world and not to the GW. I am not sure how to send it to the GW.

According to doc, there is a mx record with smtp connector but that is for 2 separate domains. I plan to try that next but was wondering if anyone got it to work with win2003 and exchange2003 offbox.

There are few commands to configure in the gateway to make the fax work.
