IDSM-2 and security manager Licenses

Hi,

I have some IPS sensors ( IDSM, NM-CIDS, appliances), how can get one license for all devices to manage them fro Cisco security manager 3.1, also which is better managing them from CSM3.1 or VMS2.3

A Newer Cisco Security Manager Base License or An Incremental Device Count License

Complete these steps:

Save the attached license file (.lic) from the email to your file system.

Copy the saved license file to a known location on the Cisco Security Manager server file system.

Launch the Cisco Security Manager Client.

Choose Tools > Security Manager Administration.

From the Cisco Security Manager - Administration window, click Licensing.

Click Install a License.

From the Install License dialog box, click Browse.

Navigate to and select the saved license file on the Cisco Security Manager server file system and click OK.

From the Install License dialog box, click on OK.

Confirm the License Summary information displayed and click Close.
