Hi CF,

CMM has its own software image; the image is not bundled with the supervisor engine or MSFC images.

Software Upgrade Procedure

From this doc;

Release Notes for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series and the Cisco 7600 Series Communication Media Module for Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)XY

Hope this helps!

Thanks very much. So in order to configure CMM, we have to use session command going to the module and configure it as to the other module, like 6608? Thanks

Hi CF,

You are most correct :) You will use session command (session slot x processor 0) where x is your module number.

Hope this helps!
