Private Vlan

Hi all !!

I'd like to config private vlan on Cisco Switch module 3020 ( for HP Chassis ). But IOS do not support (cbs30x0-lanbase-mz.122-25.SEF1/cbs30x0-lanbase-mz.122-25.SEF1.bin ).

Please tell me which IOS version can support this feature.

Hi

The 3020 does not fully support private vlans. What it does support is PVLAN Edge (Protected ports). This allows you to isolate ports on the same switch but not across switches.

Attached is the config section for the 3020 that deals with protected ports.

I consider Layer 2 security for customer. I think there's no IOS to upgrade to support this feature for C3020, doesn't it?
