Is it possible to add content filtering to an ASA5520 or do you have to have it included when its purchased?

Hi,

The ASA supports only 2 content filtering servcies : N2h2 or websense . It has to be separately purchased from a vendor.YOu could ask ur reseller for more info .

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/configuration/guide/filter.html

But u can use any other like squid proxy to divert all inbound /outbound traffic to the proxy for authentication and content filtering .
