Aironet 1310G - Bridge Security

Dear All,

we have a central ACS Radius Server and use WDS for relaying authentication requests to it. Now we have to configure a bridge with a Root AP providing coverage for wireless clients and a Non Root AP which also provides coverage for wireless clients. The Root AP gets authenticated to ACS w/o any problems but the Non Root AP and all Clients behind it just don't get authenticated neither via WDS nor if we directly add the Non-Root AP as AAA-Client on ACS it does not send requests to it. We want to use PEAP/WPA2 in all areas incl. the bridge are. Could you please give us a hint how to best do accomplish this ? How can I get the Non Root AP and its clients to authenticate against ACS ? Thanks.

This setup should work. Can you post the configurations of the root and non root bridges? We can check if it is a configuration error.

Hi,

thanks for your nice offer. Please find attached the config files for the Root and the Non Root Bridge.

The issue arises as soon as we check the button "non root bridge" instead of "access point" --> the radio card of the non root bridge does not start with the error: IF dot11 radio0, cannot associate: EAP authentication failed
