We're running CCM 5.1.2, which was originally configured
by a 3rd party. When they configured our LDAP syncs, they set the Mail ID to
pull from the "sAMAccountName" field. The problem is, our email
addresses are not the same as our account names, and this appears to be causing
issues with our Meetingplace Express integration - it creates user profiles
with the email address of <sAMAccountName>@<domain>,
which is in error.
I'd like to recreate these LDAP syncs so that it pulls the Mail ID from
the "mail" field, but I had concerns that this could cause issues in
other parts of our system. We're running CCM 5.1.2, Unity Connection 1.2,
and MPX 2.0. If we change that email field, will it have any affect on Unity
mailbox names, or anything else?
