Cisco 877 and LAN-to-LAN VPN

Hi,

Does Cisco 877 support LAN-to-LAN VPN?

How does it compare against ASA 5505 in terms of firewall capabilities?

What would be the prefered hardware - 877 or ASA 5505 for connecting two or three small offices 10-20 users with LAN-to-LAN VPNs?

Yes the 877 support VPN.

I personally prefer the router over the PIX because they are more feature rich, easy to configure and to troubleshoot. Other people is adamant bout the PIX being superior because it is conceived for security.

Whatever the choice, make sure you have someone that can configure and maintain the network properly, not just applying a template and then unamble to adapt your needs.
