1300 Access point connectivity loss to local switch

Unanswered Question

I have two Cisco 1300 Access Points that are acting as bridges. Each is at a different site.

Each site is in its own VTP domain, with the core switch (a 3000 series L2/L3) acting as a VTP Server and all other switches as clients.

The switch at either site that connects directly to the AP1300 cannot ping the access point.

The initial problem stated it was because of VTP domain mismatch. But after running "switchport nonegotiate" on the respective ports, that stopped appearing as an error message.

I have the port set up as a trunk port, with the net_mgt vlan for each site trunked to the port, and the vlan for the wan link between the sites.

I still cant get the switch to ping the access point, and i cant connect remotely to either access point

how can i resolve this.

Attached, is a sketch of the layout
