Hi folks.
I've searched through the online docs, but can't find a definitive answer to the following question:
Can I upgrade the memory on a 5510 or 5520? I'm specifically referring to RAM, not to the flash/compact flash.
One of my ASA's is only at 9% CPU, but at 50% memory. I don't want/need to upgrade to the 5540, because really only RAM is the current rate limiting factor.

If you check in the ASA datasheet Cisco doesn't list any memory other than flash memory.

the DRAM is not upgradeable in the 5510 , i'm not sure about the others. This way when a newer OS comes out down the road that requires even more RAM, you'll have to buy an entirely new device - unlike w/ the PIX ;)
atleast, imho....
