Question about CSM Module

Hi

I have cisco core sw 6509 with CSM-SSL installed in it and it is used to provide ssl for our website including url-rewrite for all HTTP traffic.

the question is, is it possible to use the same certificate with a different URL or i have to configure another certificate?

Hi,

You will need another certificate or the browser will give you an alert for non matching name and certificate "CN"

If you can live with the alert then yes you can reuse a certificate for another service i think.
