Dear all,

we have to update the Cisco Security Manager on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 system due to the incompatibility of the new IPS-OS with the old CMS 3.0.1.

If I try to install the security manager the process aborts with the following message:

An internal error has occured while checking for unsubmitted, or unapproved, activity data. Please refer to the Install Guide, or Release Notes for further information.

There is also a log file:

do you have any unapproved activities on 3.0.1 build?

Upgrade does not support unapproved activities.

Discard or approve all the activities before doing the upgrade.

If you are in No workflow mode, submit/discard all the changes.

HTH,

Radhika

Yeah, ran into this problem recently. There were some changes lurking under the username Admin. Take over their (other users) sessions and do the submit or discard.
