Unanswered Question

We have about 12 of the older 7920 phones. They have been working fine. We are trying out two 7921G phone with 33 more to be deployed. But the new 7921G phones are giving us a Network busy when a call tries to connect or when you try and call out. The phone appears to be registered fine. But an incomming call will ring once, flash the persions caller ID then drop the call and show a "Network Busy" Error. What can I try? I have 1200AP's. Scattared throught our plant.

I have this problem too.

Sounds like you are you using autonomous IOS APS? If so, then either you have TSPEC misconfigured or you are running the IOS version were TSPEC has issues.

Do not enable TSPEC if using 12.4(3g)ja.

If you enable TSPEC with another version, then ensure you put "admit-traffic" under the SSID as well.

Would have something like the following in the radio config if TSPEC is enabled:

dot11 qos class video local

admit-traffic signaling infinite

dot11 qos class voice local

admit-traffic narrowband max-channel 75 roam-channel 6

dot11 qos class video cell

dot11 qos class voice cell

If so, then ensure the SSID has "admit-traffic" added or it will fail as it's configured to block the admission on that SSID.
