ICT MTP Issue

Hi, can someone please help me with this problem?

I have CME talking to CCM via a ICT trunk. Codec is set to be g729. All calls work fine.

However when i try to call the AA app on IPCCx from the CME box, the call fails. I have set up a transcoder at on the 6608 blade, but to get this to work it i have to check "MTP Required" on the ICT Trunk. Once i do this everything starts to work.

However i have noticed that all calls from CME to CCM via the ICT trunk now uses the transcoder. Is there any way around this? I have been racking my brains for the past few hours trying to think of something but came up blank.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to configure CME as H323 Gateway instead of ICT when configuring it on CallManager.
