Can the RME 3.5 inventory database be exported to a file w/ no human intervention? I.E not using the GUI-

The reason I ask is the Unix team has a script that exports the database to a file then does a comparison against another database dump. The difference is then imported back into RME using the crmimport command which imports devices from a file in a DIF format.

I had asked a previous question on how to export the RME DB to a file in a .csv format.

The answer is the same: no. This functionality was not built in to RME 3.x. However, I wrote a tool that is available from the old http://cosi-nms.sourceforge.net site called DevExp that facilitates this. It uses the DLMS capability of RME to export the devices and credentials to a CSV file.
