Hi

We have Cisco unity 4.0.1 system inteegrated with active directory. while importing one user to Unity from AD the First name is misspelled. We are unable to change the user details from the Unity subscribers as the name section is not getting highlighted when we try to edit any user settings. We even tried to remove the user and add the user but it is not accepting to add a new user. Instead it is allowing us to add as a existing user and name settings are not highlighted when we try to add the existing user. Need help if anyone has faced the problem and any solution

I have this problem too.

Hi -

You can do this from your Unity server's Active Directory Users and Computers console. On the Unity server, go to Start - Programs - Exchange - Active Directory Users and Computers. On the left side of the console, click on your domain. Use the search button on the tool bar to look for the user. When you find the user, double-clink on the user to open up the user account properties. Correct the spelling of the user's First name. Through replication, the change will appear in the Unity SA and get populated to the UnityDb.
