Hi, Are there anybody here that have suceeded in upgrading a 1231G with the firmware from the controller version 4.1.185 (ap sw 12.4(3g)ja2) ????

Hi Henrik,

I am sorry if I have misunderstood your question, but if you are trying to upgrade an Autonomous AP (1231) to LWAPP using the LWAPP Upgrade tool you first need to load an image like 12.3(11)JA on the AP.

Hi you have misunderstood the ?. Our 1231 ap's have been operating as lwapp for the last 4 months, but due to problems with roaming between intermec handhelds, we need to lift our controllers to ver 4.1.185, and it seems that i cant get the 1231 to load the new firmware

Problem solved. :), the controller had lost the ap policies regarding the upgraded 1231 ap's so they wouldnt join.
